R & A Hofford Farms

R & A Hofford Farms is owned and operated by Ryan and Amy Hofford, it is located in the Swan River Valley and covers approximately 650 acres. Focused mostly on grain and forage production, some of the crops grown are wheat, oats, barley, peas, flax, buckwheat, and alfalfa. Certified to NOP, COR and EU standards R & A Hofford Farms maintains the highest regard for the land they farm; using crop rotation, summer fallow and green fallow instead of chemical and synthetic fertilizer to combat weed growth and to increase yields. To meet the demand for local and natural beef, they also offer all natural grass fed beef to the local market, which will also be certified organic by 2012.
