At Jerseyland our cows are never confined, they pasture 6 months of the year and feed outdoors on hay in the winter. Our #1 priority in organics is the humane treatment of animals! Our calves are nursed by their own mothers for the 1st days and then with nurse cows until weaned. All bull calves are raised on the farm until mature as organic beef.
