Carrot & Brocolli Project 2007 - OACC Research

In 2007, in cooperation with a small-batch oil press and an interested organic farmer, OACC researchers began a trial to assess the best agronomic practices (fertility, weed and pest control) for oilseed pumpkin production. A larger area was planted to help assess yield potential and oil quality. The research trial was undertaken at two sites: Brookside and Parrsboro, NS.
