Consumers had the chance to taste the different carrot cultivars for themselves, as part of a consumer preference test, conducted at different farmer's markets in both 2006 and 2007. As taste is a major reason why people choose organic food, we wanted to see how the different organic carrot cultivars performed. Shown here is a taster at the Charlottetown Farmer's Market in September 2007 (cr. S. Mackinnon).
