Graduate Scholarship Opportunities

The OACC is very interested in building the capabilities of organic research in Canada. As such we are pleased to support graduate studies when possible. It is very advantageous, however, for a prospective student to be proactive in pursuing a graduate program.

The first step is determining where in Canada you would like to work.

The second step is meeting with potential supervisors to see if they are willing to take on additional graduate students, and what field of study or projects may be of interest.

A prospective student can greatly increase the likelihood of acceptance into a graduate program of their choice if they bring a scholarship/award, that covers the student stipend (or part thereof) with them. Some national scholarships can be taken to any university in Canada, others may be restricted to a certain province or even a program within a University. Here are a few scholarships to consider:
