Become an Organic Friend !

Currently, 85% of organic food sold in Canada is imported from other countries. It is important that Canadian producers have the opportunity to meet the growing demand. Also, growing food organically improves and protects our own environment, ensuring food safety, healthy food and healthy living right here in Canada.

To become an OACC Organic Friend, donate $25 to OACC and help us to fund much-needed research and education, here in Canada.

Organic Friends will receive a receipt for income-tax purposes and will be acknowledged (with your permission) in a list of Friends posted on the OACC website. Those who contribute $250 or more will be recognized as Organic Friends for Life.

Consumers can buy more organic food grown in Canada and thus stimulate the capacity, with research and education, to grow more of it here in Canada. Why not accrue the benefits of growing organic in our environment? Why not have more food from here that is produced without chemicals and GMOs? Now 85% of the organic food sold in Canada is from outside the country, most of it from California. Why not eat local, healthy, organic food? We can have profits and health and a clean environment here in Canada.
